Our story
Built for the South African energy reality.
Solaris Energy SA was built around a simple observation: South Africans do not need more solar salesmen, they need energy engineers. Tariffs that climb in double digits, a grid that cannot always be trusted, and a market full of contradictory quotes created demand for something rarer than panels: straight answers.
So that became the company. More than a hundred systems later, across homes, businesses and farms from the Western Cape to Gauteng, the method has not changed: assess honestly, design properly, install professionally and stay accountable for the result.

Our skilled, professional team is based in Cape Town with a branch presence in Johannesburg. We train continuously on the technologies we install, and we offer internships to newly qualified graduates: good technical jobs for young people in a growing industry is part of how we measure success.
Safety is non-negotiable: ongoing training, proper protective equipment and disciplined site practice on every installation, residential or industrial.

Cape Town winter fronts, Highveld hail, coastal salt, municipal SSEG rules that differ by city: South African solar has local texture, and we design for it daily from Bellville and Edenvale. Tariff structures, registration processes and insurer expectations are home ground, not research projects.
