Engineering, Compliance & Installation
Installed right. Signed off. On record.
The difference between a solar installation and a solar liability is engineering discipline: correct design, accredited workmanship, and the compliance paperwork that protects your insurance, your property transfer and your warranty claims.
Engineering design
Electrical design and sign-off appropriate to system scale.
Accredited installation
Trained, safety-managed teams and clean workmanship.
CoC & SSEG
Certificates of Compliance and utility registration handled.
Warranty custody
Manufacturer warranties registered, filed and honoured.
Engineering design
Every system is designed before it is priced: array layout and stringing, inverter selection and loading, protection devices, cable sizing, earthing and surge protection, all to SANS standards. Larger commercial systems carry professional electrical engineering review and sign-off, so the design holds up to scrutiny from utilities, insurers and auditors.
Procurement and equipment
We procure from established manufacturers with real South African support, selected for your application rather than whatever is in stock. Equipment arrives with its warranties registered and its serial numbers on file, the small discipline that makes claims painless years later.
Accredited installation teams
Installation is where designs succeed or quietly fail. Our teams are trained, safety-managed and supervised: method statements and safety files on commercial sites, respectful workmanship in homes, penetrations sealed properly, cables dressed, labels applied. The roof should look engineered, because it is.
Certificates of Compliance
Every installation concludes with a Certificate of Compliance issued by a registered person, covering the electrical installation work performed. Without it, insurers can repudiate claims and property transfers stall. With us it is not an extra; it is a standard exit criterion for the project.
Municipal and Eskom applications
Grid-connected systems must be registered under small-scale embedded generation (SSEG) rules with your municipality or Eskom. We prepare and submit the applications, handle utility queries, configure export limitation where required and see the process through to approval, in Cape Town, Johannesburg and the surrounding municipalities we work in daily.
Commissioning and handover
Commissioning is a test protocol, not a switch-flip: protection checks, changeover behaviour, monitoring configuration and performance verification against design. Handover includes a complete documentation pack and a walkthrough, so you understand what you own and how it behaves.
- As-built drawings and system schematic
- CoC, SSEG approval and utility correspondence
- Warranty certificates and equipment datasheets
- Monitoring access and operating guidance
Manufacturer warranties
Panels, inverters and batteries each carry manufacturer warranties with their own conditions. We register them at commissioning, keep the evidence trail, and manage claims on your behalf when hardware misbehaves, backed by our own workmanship guarantee on the installation itself.
Next step
Get an installation your insurer will never argue with.
Compliance is engineered in from day one, not retrofitted after a claim.
