Commercial & Industrial Solar
Engineered energy systems for business
Rooftop PV, battery storage and energy management for offices, retail, warehouses, industrial facilities and agricultural operations, delivered with the discipline your capital deserves.
Full EPC capability
From feasibility to operation, one accountable partner.
Cost reduction
Self-consumed rooftop solar attacks daytime tariffs directly, with conservative payback modelling your board can interrogate.
Energy resilience
Battery storage and generator integration keep production lines, cold chains and trading floors alive through outages.
Load profile engineering
Interval metering and profile analysis before design, because commercial value lives in the daytime load curve.
Rooftop solar at scale
Structurally certain, phased installations across warehouses, retail, offices and industrial facilities.
Commercial battery storage
Peak-demand reduction, load shifting and backup, sized from your metered data.
Engineering & compliance
Professional electrical design, SSEG applications, utility approvals and full documentation.
Project management
Method statements, safety files, phased tie-ins and zero-surprise scheduling around your operations.
Monitoring & maintenance
Investor-grade performance reporting and preventative maintenance under one accountable roof.
Feasibility first
We earn the project by proving the numbers.
Commercial solar succeeds in the spreadsheet before it succeeds on the roof. Every engagement starts with a feasibility study: metered load profile, tariff analysis, structural assessment and conservative financial modelling, so the investment case stands on evidence.
If the honest recommendation is a smaller system, efficiency work first, or not yet, that is what you will hear. Credibility is worth more to us than one oversized sale.

PPA & financing
Own the system, or just buy the energy.
For qualifying sites, power purchase agreements and asset finance structures can remove the capital hurdle entirely: a funder owns the system, your business buys the energy it produces at a rate below the utility tariff.
Availability depends on site size, credit profile and contract term, and ownership often remains the stronger long-run case. We model both routes side by side so the comparison is honest.
Funding structures are arranged with third-party providers and confirmed per project during the feasibility stage.
OWNERSHIP
Your capital, your asset, maximum lifetime saving and tax treatment via your advisors.
PPA / FUNDED
No capital outlay; pay for energy produced at a contracted rate below the grid.
PHASED
Start with the highest-yield roof sections and expand as savings bank.
FAQs
Commercial solar, answered
Straight answers to the questions we hear most. For anything specific to your property, an assessment gives you numbers rather than generalities.
How do we know solar will actually pay back for our business?
Before any proposal, we complete a feasibility study: metered load profile, tariff analysis, roof or land assessment, and financial modelling with conservative assumptions. You see the expected generation, offset, saving and payback before committing capital. If the numbers do not work, we tell you.
Can we install solar without interrupting operations?
Yes. Installation is phased around your operating hours, with tie-ins and changeovers scheduled for agreed windows. Health and safety files, method statements and site inductions are standard on every commercial project.
What about our demand charges and tariff structure?
Commercial tariffs are more complex than a flat rate: time-of-use energy charges, demand charges and fixed costs all affect the design. We model your specific tariff and, where appropriate, combine PV with battery storage to reduce peak demand as well as consumption.
Do you handle municipal and Eskom approvals?
Yes. We manage SSEG applications, utility approvals, export limitation requirements and the compliance documentation your municipality, Eskom, landlord or insurer requires, through to commissioning sign-off.
Can solar be funded off balance sheet?
For qualifying sites, power purchase agreements and asset finance structures can fund the system while you pay for the energy it produces. Availability depends on site size, credit profile and term. We model the ownership and funded routes side by side so you can compare them honestly.
